Van Gogh painted with water colors at his young age. Van Gogh decided to make art as his life during 1880. It took a few years for him to make others seek his art but his uncle and some others were disappointed. Van Gogh practiced many styles and continued with the art regardless of the setback. Since Van Gogh’s 1st oil paintings were not as expected he destroyed those paintings. The survived Van Gogh paintings are The potato Eaters, The Old tower and The cottage. After painting these paintings Van Gogh realized that he was not technically strong and so he learned it.
Van Gogh Landscape Paintings improved with the improvement in his technical skills. However, like today’s individuals Van Gogh was not aware of the talent he has. He critiqued his efforts and destroyed many paintings because he thought that they were not good. If he hadn’t destroyed those paintings they would have gone for thousands and millions of dollars.
